The Red River Signal Corps Detachment (RRSCD) is a group of Civil War re-enactors who authentically recreate a Confederate Signal Corps detachment who has been assigned to the Army of Tennessee (AOT). The assignment of the RRSCD is to support the AOT in the Western Theater of the War Between the States by providing communications between the units in the field and the Command Staff. The Army of Tennessee was chosen as most events we will be attending will be in the area in which the AOT fought. The RRSCD will galvanize if needed to support the Federal army during smaller events and events when a Federal Signal Detachment is not present or needs further resources.

We are currently looking for recruits, the detachment will be meeting in the North or Northeast Texas area for training.
